We’re both food makers and shopkeepers, which makes us different from our competitors.

We are British farming’s biggest direct supermarket customer, and all our fresh meat, milk and eggs are 100% British.

We buy directly from over 2,700 farmers who we know and trust – and who know and trust us too.

We also have our own abattoirs, fruit and veg packing facilities and bakeries – this means we know exactly where our food comes from and can provide our customers with what they want, when they want it.

Our ‘Nation’s Local Foodmakers’ programme searches for local food and drink makers of known and locally loved products. Supplying direct to their local store, or to stores across their region, working with suppliers on this programme provides small businesses with new opportunities to grow.
